Our dinner last Friday night with the Peppmeiers and Hovdes was GREAT! So good to see old friends again and share a summer meal. We had everyone over, ate pulled pork sandwiches (thanks for the fabulous recipe Lindsey), salad with vegetables from the Hovdes' garden, noshed on yummy peach cobbler and ice cream, and sipped coffee into the evening hours. Maybe it was just that we had a few drinks, but the kids seemed to do surprisingly well. They watched movies, played upstairs, played outside, we went to the park with them....they were all pretty content and easy! Have we passed the threshold of meals with mayhem???? I'm starting to say yes.

So fun. And i think you are right! We have almost arrived! Thanks for letting the kids to have the run of the place, allowing us all great visiting time. Love being with you guys!
